A taste of Etna is the right proposal for those who want to enjoy and savour the natural beauty and culinary specialities of Etna.
- What does the service include?
There will be a transfer from Milo or from a place to be agreed upon - with a comfortable 9-seater minibus authorised to transport passengers - to the starting point of the hike.
The morning will be dedicated to trekking and discovering the Sartorius side craters. These eruptive apparatuses are a magnificent manifestation of the power and uniqueness of Etna volcano. The excursion includes reaching and visiting the Sartorius craters.
Etna is an active volcano, the highest among European volcanoes, and has been a Regional Park since 1987. In addition, in 2013 it was recognised by Unesco as a World Heritage Site and became one of the four Unesco natural sites in Italy.
Your Environmental Hiking Guide will tell you about the geology, history, myths and culture of these magnificent places. After trekking according to the safety conditions present that day, you will be taken inside a volcanic cave.
Afterwards, you will be taken to Milo, to stop at Barbara's house and enjoy typical local dishes, carefully prepared by the hostess.
Lunch includes a set of appetisers, main course, dessert, water and coffee. Wine is not included and will be recommended by Barbara.

It is recommended to have trekking shoes or good trainers with you. An anorak, a fleece, a hat, a small backpack, trekking poles, a 1.5-litre water bottle.
